About Mustard Seed Originals

I have been designing primitive dolls for every holiday and season throughout the year since 1992. I have been featured in many national and international magazines over the years. Each of my designs are created with loads of hand stitching, creating detailed dolls. I also publish patterns from some of my designs.

Glad you stopped by to read all about me. I'm a mother of 5 wonderful, grown children, and have 14 grandchildren. I reside in a town 90 miles north of Los Angeles called Victorville, California.

I grew up spending my summer vacations with my grandparents on their farm in West Virginia. With growing up in the city, I was always looking forward to my time on the farm.

My granny, Annie, taught me to appreciate the simpler things in life along with having good manners and how to act like a young lady.

I grew up sewing since I could hold a needle but never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be doing something I love and getting paid for it!

I began selling at shows years ago to make some extra money for Christmas presents. Before I knew it, I was selling patterns and designing my own collectibles.

The internet has allowed me to meet so many wonderful people and make so many new friendships. Don't know how I got along without it.

Thanks for your interest in my designs!
